The Saudi society of Prosthodontics was established in September, 2019, as the result of many years of hard-work and planning. Prosthodontics is a subspecialty of dentistry that is considered the cornerstone of any given dental treatment that aims to restore function and aesthetics; however, with the continuous advancements of current knowledge, techniques, and evidence based practice, it became a necessity for practitioners to keep their knowledge, rationale, and clinical practice up to date, to deliver the most favorable treatment to the patients.
Our role and duty in the Saudi Society of Prosthodontics is to facilitate and deliver the most current knowledge to the prosthodontists in the kingdom, while on the other hand, establishing programs and activities to raise the public’s knowledge and awareness.
With that goal in mind, me ,as a president and a team member, am determined to work with the board members to establish a giant scientific evolution in the field of prosthodontics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that will ultimately be rewarding to both practitioners, and patients, equally, in accordance with the kingdom’s vision 2030.
